1) Why are all Homoeopathic Medicines in White Pills ?

The Homoeopathic Medicines are usually in liquid form that too in an alcohol base as it has to be preserved. Only a few drops of medicines are put in pills which are prepared from sugar of milk and are therefore white & sweet. The pills are the medium for the action of Medicines. Colour is not added because it may come of due to Alcohol.

2) What will happen if more pills are taken than advised or what will happen of repeated more than advised time ?

According to Homoeopathy, it is the number of times the medicines is repeated that is important and not how many pills are taken. Because every repitation stimulates the body, but even when the children swallows whole bottle pills there is nothing to worry because it will be treated as single dose only. At the most a cup of coffee is given to prevent any trouble.

3) It is said that homoeopathy first increases the diseases and then improves is this true ?

When the medicines chosen is absolutely perfect, but if repeated often it may increase the present complaint but it subsides on its own, on withdrawal of medicines. And also sometimes after homoeopathic medication the old symptoms of the patient may again reappear, is a good sign for Homoepathic doctors, for the medicine is perfect, cure is being achieved as per the "law of cure

4) Can Homoeopathy be used in emergencies and does it have fast action ?

We have a wide variety of drugs for any every emergency conditions like fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, heat pain, bleeding, burns, injuries, etc., Whenever the medicines is chosen properly and given at frequent internal it acts within the matter of hours.

5) What is the procedure of taking the pills ?

The pills are to be taken in the lid of the medicines bottle, and then it should be sucked (not chewed not swallowed). A gap of 10 minutes should be left before and after taking the medicines. Nothing should be taken while drunken.

6) Why should there be a gap of 10 minutes before and after ?

Unlike Allopathic Medicines, Homoeopathic Medicine action starts from the inner linning of mouth. So any substance eaten, druken leaves a coating in mouth or an odour, which hinders the absorbtion of medicines or even nullify's the medicinal action.

7) Pills when mode freshly is moist later on they dry, do pills mode 2 -3 months previously retain their power of medicines or they are only dry pills.

The liquid medicine is poured over the pills till liquid starts collecting at the bottom of the bottle indicating all pills are saturated with the medicines (this happens by capillary suction), so at first because of the excess liquid the pills feels moist but later on, it becomes dry as this excess fluid evaporates. Since the pills are saturated with medicines, the medicines cannot evoparate therefore pills retain their power for months also.

8) Can diabetic patients take homoeopathic pills as they contain sugar ?

Yes - because the amount of sugar is present is very small. Also if necessary medicines can be given in distilled water avoiding pills.

9) Do - Homoeopathic Medicines produce any side effects?

No, because the treatment is aimed at increasing the resistance of the patient thereby the person with his own power can flight against the disease. And also quantity if the drug is so little (it cannot be detected by any physical / chemical methods ) that it can only stimulats the body power, not act against it.

10) Whether other medicines (allopathy, ayurvedhic, Unani ) can be taken in emergency along with Homoeopathic medicines.

No, because if he takes two days at same time for same illness, then evaluating whether the patient has any improvement under homoeopathich treatment difficult.

Yes, Because same allopathic drug like digitalis, insulin, should not be stopped suddenly as if can have harmful withdrawal effects on patients health. Therefore they have to be gradually reduced.

11) What are the general instructions to be followed during Homoeopathic treatment ?

12) Is Homoeopthy slow acting ?

Definitely Homoeopathic is not slow - acting the results are generally - quick, immediate, sometimes instantaneous unfortunately there is false impression that it is slow - acting the reasons for this is mainly, patients at the starting of disease seeks to other treatment ( Allopathy, Ayurvedic, etc.,) at last gravitate to homoeopath till that time the disease turns to be chronic one. Naturally it will take sometimes to be cured / relieved.
