Dr. N. R. Jayakumar was born in a small village called Elluvilai in Tiruchendur Taluk at Tuticorin District, and settled in Adambakkam, chennai - 88, India. since 1983 and practicing Homoeopathy from 1991 Onwards.

• B.Sc (Chemistry) - In Adithanar College of Arts & Science at Tiruchendur from 1980 - 1983.
• C.M.L.T. - Certificate of Medical Laboratory Technology in King Institure of Preventive Medicine at Guindy, Chennai - 32, from 1984 - 1985.
• D.H.M.S - In White Memorial Homoeopathic Medical College at Kanyakumari Dist from 1986 - 1990.
• M.D. (Homoeo) in Ahamadabad Homoeopathic Medical College at Gujarat, from 2004 - 2005
• Ph.D from Homoeopathy University, Jaipur.2013-2016.

Dr. Uma Jayakumar is wife of Dr.N.R.Jayakumar. She was inspired by her husband to take up homoeopathy and wished to aid him. Her passion showed as she completed the 5 1/2year course as a full time student and thus stands apart! Today Madan Homoeo clinic at Nanganallur stands testimony to her sheer enthusiasm and hard work. She is specialized in treating cases of obesity, female disorders(menstrual, Fibroid, Pcod ,Leucorrhoea gastric, asthmatic ailments etc.

AS A HEALTH PROMOTOR

• He has conducted a free seminar for Awareness camp of therapeutic Yoga in his clinic premises on July 14th - 2006
• He had conducted many Free Chikungunya Medical Camps, some of those


1. On 13/8/06 we had conducted the free Chikungunya Awareness Camp in Madan Homoeo Clinic, Adambakkam, at Chennai - 88. We had supplied preventive medicines to nearly more than 750 persons.
2. On 15/8/06 we had conducted another camp in "Narumukai Apartments", Adambakkam, Chennai - 88, and supplied preventive medicines for nearly 450 persons.
3. On 11/10/06, we have undergone "Chikungunya Awareness walk Athon" conducted by Lions club International, Dist 324 - A6, by Lion P. Elangovan, Region Chair Person - Region - IV with actor Rameshkhanna.
4. On 17/8/06, we conducted a camp on preventive measures of chikungunya in Saint Brittos Academy, Velachery, Chennai - 42. We had supplied medicines to all the teaching and non- teaching staffs, they were all prevented from getting Chikungunya.
5. On 24/8/06, we had conducted the same program in Mount Christian Matriculation, School, Adambakkam, Chennai.
6. On 31/8/06 we had conducted a Mega camp in Giridhara Vilas Kalyana Mandapam, Adambakkam, Chennai - 88, in which many got benefited. Nearly we gave 300 preventive medicines and 250 curative medicines.
• Totally we gave preventive medicines for nearly 15,000 persons and also 20,000 people were treated in curative medicines for CHIKUNGUNYA in his clinic.

AS A CHIEF GUEST

• He inaugurated the KG Exhibition at G.K.Shetty Hindu Vidhyalaya school at Adambakkam, he was encouraging the students and made them more enthusiastic by his inspiring speech.
• He was preside and Inaugurated the Eye camp conducted by Parthasarathy Nagar Welfare Association.

AS A FAMILY MAN

• A family man with his wife and two male children
• His wife Dr. Uma Jayakumar is also a Homoeopath, she had completed B.H.M.S. in Sri Sairam homoeopathic Medical College, Tambaram, chennai. She had also sacrificed her lifetime for the study of 5½ years B.H.M.S courses, after her previous qualification of M.Sc Biochemistry, and after a mother for two boys and also she is helping to Dr.N.R. Jayakumar for his dedicated services of Homoeo practice.
